We work to help young people into employment, training and education. DurhamWorks is funded by the European Social Fund supported by the Youth Employment Initiative and our nine partner organisations.
The programme is funded with £29.04m from the European Council's Youth Employment Initiative and £7.26m in match funding, with the aim of helping young people from County Durham progress into work, training, education or volunteering.
We are currently funded until 2021. By then we expect to have supported nearly 10,000 16 to 24 year-olds in County Durham.
Every one of our partners offers something different. Each has its own valuable expertise and experience to help young people overcome challenges and find new opportunities.
